Context Scenarios
Filling in the [situational] gaps
To begin understanding how our application would work in certain scenarios, we started forming ideas about what exactly we wanted to build. We settled on building a mobile application to address the earlier makerspace trouble points we outlined. Then, we started writing potential key path scenarios for the primary ways that our personas, Oliver and Eleanor, would use our application.
The scenarios represent how makers may commonly find themselves in situations where they could use our application. The scenarios provide context for when and how a maker would use our application to address their pains and achieve their desires/goals.
Our scenarios are specific to our personas, but can be broadened to represent common experiences amongst many makers. From our scenarios, we started brainstorming ideas for the design of our application.
